The urban consultation committee is comprised of six citizens who examine questions of urban development and who advise municipal council on these matters. The village of Neguac adopted its rural plan in 2000 that defines zoning throughout the municipality.

Here are the different types of zones:

Residential Orientation
Residential – Zone R

Mixed development, residential, commercial, industrial and institutional – Zone M1

Residential, commercial and small business industrial – Zone M2

Green space – Zone C

Resources, exploitation of resources – Zone N
