Situated between the First Nations of Burnt Church and the anglophone community of Tabusintac, Neguac is a important Acadian and French cultural center. The recently constructed, Theater Richard-Denys is a modern location that welcomes local cultural productions as well as those from professional theater companies from outside the area. The residents of Neguac now have a place to watch plays and concerts in a comfortable and inviting setting.

Neguac is know as the "Capital of the Savoie" in recognition of one of its founding families.

Maison Robichaud, located at 17 Otho St., was designated a historic site by the government of New Brunswick in 1994 however it is not yet accessible to the public.

This site has a lot of potential both as a historic entity and as a tourist attraction not only because of its location within the municipality but also for its rich Acadian history.

After thorough study, the minister of the culture and sport secretariat recommended on October 9th 2001 that the name of the historic location be changed to Maison Otho-Robichaud, in order to be more closely associated with the family of Otho Robichaud.
